Doug Lovelock is a British composer based in London, known for his melodic and textural writing for scores in Film, TV and Games. He is known for his scores for the short SOMEWHERE LOUD, and for his work on the soundtrack for the upcoming adventure/puzzle game GIFT OF THE GODS. He studied Composition at the University of Surrey, and holds diplomas in Conducting & Media Scoring from University of Cambridge and University of Utrecht respectively.

In addition to his work as a composer and producer, he is a skilled pianist and educator. He has assisted the composer Daniel Nolan (Doom Scroll, The WIld Ones), is currently learning under Oscar-Nominee Gary Yershon (Mr Turner, Hard Truths) through the SoundBoard Incentive and has studied at the Screen Music Programme 2026 learning under leading composers Sean Callery (Halo, Homeland, The Beast In Me), Michael Abels (Get Out, Nope, Us) and Simon Franglen (Avatar: Way of Water, Avatar: Fire and Ash, The Magnificent Seven).
